By 1974, the Learjet worldwide fleet had logged more than one-million flight hours and the company marked production of its 500th jet in 1975. Both of these milestones were industry firsts and secured the Learjet reputation for being the workhorse aircraft across the globe. The company had increased monthly aircraft production to ten by late 1976.
