1990s

Gates Learjet continued production of the Learjet line until 1987, and Bombardier acquired it in 1990, marketing it as the “Bombardier Learjet Family”. In June of 2017 the 3,000th Learjet was delivered. Bombardier delivered the final Learjet, a Learjet 75, on March 28, 2022 changing their focus to the larger Challenger and Global jets instead. After 60 years of production, more than 2,000 Learjets are still in service with continued support and maintenance by Bombardier.
